This is a rubric that I created for a Math project that I could potentially use in the classroom. The project that I made this rubric for is a middle school math presentation. The class is given the assignment of creating a poster illustrating the formula for the area of a chosen polygon and giving an example problem using that formula. Each student then has to present his poster and formula to the class and show an example problem on the whiteboard.
The above rubric gives the students an explanation of what I would be looking for in their posters and presentation to the class. Through looking at the rubric, students will know what they are expected to include in their information and how I will be grading their work.
