Sorting

Sorting allows students to distinguish between different groupings. In this sorting activity, students must sort the puzzle pieces into their separate puzzles and color code the pieces according to which puzzle they belong to. An activity like this requires students to recognize the difference between concepts and organize them into their respective groups. This activity can also be used for many different subjects and multiple purposes. A teacher could require students to put the steps of a process in the correct order, group pieces together based on a common factor, etc. This is also an interactive activity that allows students hands-on activity and fun.
